Alana & Ori’s fall Allan House Wedding in Austin, TX
Alana + Ori wanted alllll the fall color. Their ceremony space was warm and festive, and their families and friends made it even more so! From the moment I started photographing, A+O were overjoyed with each other and the promise of the day.
When we spoke about wedding photography ahead of their wedding day, A+O both said they were looking for a documentary style wedding photographer who would focus on real emotions and candid moments. I told them that authentic wedding photography is my passion and art. I pride myself on capturing genuine, unscripted moments that unfold naturally throughout a wedding day. I also told them that an unobtrusive approach is super important to ensure that they and their guests feel at ease.
One of my favorite moments happened at their ketubah signing, when Ori’s eyes filled with tears, and Alana looked over with a huge grin. Ori's parents were also so emotive and sweet, traveling from Israel to watch their son get married.
I loved all of the Jewish traditions that they celebrated on their wedding day, including getting married under the chuppah, getting wrapped up in the tallit by their rabbi, blessing the challah, and dancing the hora. It was awesome. Mazel tov!
