Jade + Jon’s Prospect House Wedding

This day!! Their love for Big Bend matches mine, and Big Bend is featured all over their celebration. Table cards featured trails + scenic spaces like Chisos Basin, Lost Mine Trail, and Emory Peak. They projected Big Bend sunset photos on a wall during their reception, and it was high-vibes all night. Needless to say, J+J’s spring wedding at Prospect House was magical from the get go, and the weather was golden even though rain had been forecasted. They primarily wanted unposed and genuine photos that highlighted their guests, Austin Hill Country, and their love for each other and their families. Storytelling in photography is my jam, and I felt the love flowing through their story.

Even though their guest list included 120, it felt like an intimate wedding — almost like a backyard wedding set in Hill Country! Contributing to that backyard feel was an outdoor grilling moment (scroll down to see). Jade + Jon had Contigo cater their wedding because great food is super important to them. Post-dinner, a funny moment happened where I caught them flossing (literally, not the dance move) in one of the rooms before our sunset photos. They’re both dentists, so it tracks. Enjoy this incredible day! It was so special.
